Norwegian People's Aid (NPA) have projects in more than 30 countries around the world. Our international projects include long-term development cooperation and mine- and explosives clearance. “When I returned from exile in Uganda life in Yei was so hard for me. I made pancakes for selling but the business collapsed. My friends advised me to return to the village but I refused. Then one day a friend advised me to enroll at Yei Vocational Training Center to pursue a course in tailoring,” said Sayima Joyce a disabled tailor in Yei town.

NPA project manager John Sörbö Monday received his second visit from the Norwegian Embassy in Khartoum. Sörbö has now been detained by Sudanese authorities for more than two weeks.
